Walsh Consulting Engineers (formerly Tate Professional Engineers) has operated sucessfully on the sunshine cost since 1884. Justin Walh joined the firm to oversee stormwater drainage analysis and subdivisional design in 1994. After becoming a director in 1999, Justin became the Managing Director on the retirement of Rod Tate in 2004.

The company is employee owned with a staff of four engineers, four civil draftsman, an environmental scientist and three support staff.
